About the apprenticeship

Duties

• Management of meeting room and fee earner diary.
• To assist in accordance with professional standards (including
SRA and CQS) and internal firm requirements.
• Adherence to AML, client care and compliance procedures.
• To assist in the firms filing and archiving systems.
• Dealing with client enquiries and communicating with a variety
of third parties.
• Taking client instructions, checking ID.
• Undertaking photocopying and scanning.
• Collecting, scanning and distributing mail.
• Effectively processing all incoming telephone calls including
the logging of calls and the conveying of messages.
• Emailing and corresponding with various parties on cases.
• Ensuring client information and documentation are saved and
maintained on the firm’s Case Management System.
• Preparing mail for dispatch.
• Ensure the confidentiality of the client and firm’s information
and documentation at all times.
• Undertake other clerical and administrative duties as may
reasonable be required from time to time.

Noble Harbour Solicitors are a small and busy firm with a focus on a friendly, face to face approach to Conveyancing. We are seeking a Business Admin Apprentice Receptionist to support and join the team within the Residential Conveyancing sector. This position is open to applicants between 16 - 24 years old. The position will be office based but will be supported by Gower College. It is an apprenticeship at Level 2 and will typically take between 12 and 18 months to complete. On completion of the Apprenticeship the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue within the firm and a view to progress further in the future. The role will include welcoming all clients and other visitors to the firm in a helpful, friendly and professional manner. There is a high degree of responsibility to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times. Assist in the smooth running of the practice by providing a range of support services within the general office function. A three month probationary period is to be successfully completed and two references sought.
