About the apprenticeship
Duties
Build positive connections with staff, children and their families
Create a warm welcoming and secure environment
Follow policies and procedures set out by Mudiad Meithrin
Attend weekly team meetings to plan enriching activities and support key children
Be confident to deliver Welsh patterns to children through phrases, songs and rhymes daily following the Croesi'r bont scheme
Work alongside our Gold standard Healthy Snack Award to provide a balanced snack
Assist and support children with personal care
Attend mandatory/relevant training to suit the needs of the children
Attend training for the new curriculum
Safeguard children and adults, attend Group B safeguarding training
Have a good understanding of Flying Start
Work alongside room leader to achieve excellent outcomes for children
Deliver the foundation learning in a way children will learn new experiences
Be highly motivated and enthusiastic about Early Years
Additional information
The ability to speak basic Welsh - full language support to be given
