About the apprenticeship

Duties

Number One Gym in Queensferry are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has a Level 2 in Gym Instructor (will need evidence of certificate if successful), is passionate about fitness and wants to progress their career in the health and fitness industry while completing their Level 3 Personal Training qualification.
As an Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience working in a busy gym environment while learning the skills needed to become a confident and knowledgeable personal trainer.
During the Apprenticeship, you will:
• Work towards completing your Level 3 Personal Training qualification
• Support members on the gym floor with guidance and basic exercise technique
• Assist experienced personal trainers and gym staff
• Help deliver inductions and basic training sessions
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the gym
• Build relationships with members and provide excellent customer service
• Learn how to programme workouts and support clients with their fitness goals
• Gain experience in running group sessions and personal training

Additional information

16 hours per week - Monday 16:00 - 21:00
Tuesday 06:30 - 13:30 the additional flexible cover shifts for holidays etc
