About the apprenticeship

Duties

Supervising children, during play, learning, and meal/snack times helping them with routines.
Planning & helping with activities, games, story time, crafts and assisting with early learning key skills
Supporting children's emotional & social development
Personal care, changing nappies, general care.
Team work within the nursery and general day to day activities to keep the nursery running.
Good communication within team and also to parents/carers
Should be able to follow all safeguarding/HS rules at all times

Additional information

x1 Nursery Practitioner term time only (level 2 accepted) and x1 Nursery Practitioner full term (both up to 16hrs)

Requirements

Skills

Require full flexibility as hours are on a rota from opening time of 0630 and closing time of 1830.
Ideally have First aid, safe guarding, food hygiene/safety but happy to put through these qualifications not already achieved.

Ideally minimum of level 2 Childcare
