Duties
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Family Resource Team within Children and Family Services as an apprentice. This post is based in a friendly team where you will receive excellent support and on the job training. You will play an important role in assisting the team in supporting children, parents and carers via family-time, direct work, delivering accredited programmes and facilitating Family Group Conferences.

You'll be supported to develop a relationship-based manner of working with children, parents and carers as well as the principles of strengths-based work with families. There will also be the opportunity to learn about the wider Children and Families service and safeguarding.
As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced colleagues learning job specific skills whilst earning a wage and working towards a Diploma in Children & Young Peoples Workforce which is a nationally recognised professional qualification.
We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Whether you are starting your career or looking to retrain, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within children’s services.
