About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Tracking orders within our housing and finance management systems, learning to resolve simple process queries.
• Assisting the business with order/process related queries and working alongside internal teams (like Finance or Operations) to help resolve matching errors between purchase orders, goods received notes, and invoices.
• Assisting with supplier onboarding by gathering supporting evidence such as insurances and accreditation documents.
• Helping to compile tender packs, uploading documentation to e-tendering portals, and monitoring the portal's clarification message board under supervision.
• Support in maintaining and update our internal contracts register.
• Providing routine spend reports from finance systems to help buyers identify where money is being spent.
• Gathering baseline market intelligence, researching potential new suppliers, or analysing basic industry trends to support the team.
Additional information
• An interest working in Procurement with any related experience (e.g. through education, part-time work, volunteering, or personal projects).
• Welsh language skills, or a willingness to develop your Welsh language skills is desirable.
• This role involves travel across Hafod’s sites and services. While a driving licence is not essential, some locations may be difficult to access by public transport.

Qualifications
