About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Providing support to the Digital Construction team.
• Assist with general queries related to project information models.
• Assist with model federation and design coordination.
• Undertake QA checks on information models received via the project common data environment
• Assist the Digital Construction Managers/Coordinators with updating information particulars.
• Assist with project reporting and tracking.
• Contribute to functional project health checks
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the group digital construction templates and standards.
• Liaise with project teams to assist with digital construction queries.
• Liaise with design teams and subcontractors to assist with digital construction queries.
• Support the onboarding of project teams to digital tools and workflows.
• Learning how to use Solibri for model checking, and BIMcollab for issue management.
• Engage in continuous learning and development activities relation to digital construction.
• Take part in the McLaren Apprenticeship Development Programme.
Additional information
The Trainee Site Manager will support the Digital Construction team in managing digital workflows, documentation, and standards across projects. This includes assisting with general queries related to digital construction and contributing to the preparation of project information particulars required by the business and project teams, in line with agreed timescales.

Qualifications
Applicants will ideally hold 5 GCSEs A-C 9-4 including Maths and English, or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above) If not, they will need to agree to complete Functional Skills as part of their apprenticeship.
