About the apprenticeship

Duties

• Process and check payroll data to help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Provide advice and guidance to customers on payroll matters, helping to deliver accurate and consistent processes.
• Input, check, reconcile and validate payroll information, including timesheets, expenses, absence, deductions, bank details and starter information.
• Carry out a range of payroll administration tasks within agreed deadlines.
• Work closely with colleagues across Employment Services to support an effective and joined up service.
• Follow data protection, information security, health and safety and equality requirements while carrying out your duties.
