Aspire BG is a Apprenticeship programme that links with Advance
Manufacturing Employers based within Blaenau Gwent helping them
fulfil apprenticeship needs. Each year we recruit 10-20 apprentices.

Opportunities offered

We have apprenticeship each year predominately within Engineering
(Electrical and mechanical), in addition to this we have IT, commercial,
finance and Lab technician apprentices all based within Advance
Manufacturing.

Benefits available

Each apprentices has an assigned mentor who links as and when
required with the apprentice and also links with college, WBL and
employers to fulfil apprentices needs etc.

What do we look for in an applicant

Someone who meets all eligibility criteria and willing to learn.

How much are apprentices paid

Above minimum wage and increase year on year whilst on the
programme if educational targets are met.
