When does BBC usually recruit for apprentices?
There is a recruitment for Apprenticeship Programmes aligned with STEM in October, while Production and Journalism Apprenticeships typically open for recruitment from January/ February.  

What is BBC Wales looking for in an applicant?
BBC Wales is looking for creative, ambitious, energetic people from all backgrounds who will bring a fresh perspective. Previous experience is not essential though some apprenticeships do require applicants to attend a UK university.

What types of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing?
Apprentices on the Journalism Apprenticeship Programme will join the newsroom, helping to tell people’s stories. Engineering apprentices will play a hands-on role in putting programmes on the air, while production apprentices will develop craft skills
