What apprenticeships do they offer?

Celtic Manor offers two different kinds of apprenticeship – Hotel & Hospitality, and Culinary. Both start at Level 2 with opportunities to progress to Level 3 on successful completion.

When does Celtic Manor usually recruit for apprentices?

Celtic Manor recruits its hotel & hospitality apprentices in summer and culinary apprentices as and when vacancies become available.

What is the Celtic Manor looking for in an applicant?

Qualifications are less important than attitude, the resort is looking for hard-working applicants with a genuine interest in the industry and a positive, ‘have a go’ outlook.

What type of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing?

Apprentices are trained in all the skills they would need as employees. Hotel & hospitality apprentices will have an opportunity to spend time in each department while culinary apprentices learn on-the-job in the Celtic Manor’s Junction 24 staff restaurant.

What are the benefits of being an apprentice at the Celtic Manor?

Apprentices at Celtic Manor receive all the same benefits as permanent staff. These include: discounted rooms and food, a cycle to work scheme, on-site nursery, pension, life assurance and 28 days holiday, including bank holidays. Once they complete their apprenticeship Celtic Manor encourages apprentices to apply for any available permanent roles and offers training programmes to further their career.
