We are farm shop and kitchen in picturesque country side of South Wales, situated 3
miles outside Usk town. We have small cafe on site offering handmade meals & cakes.
Handmade jams, pickles & chutneys can be found in farms shop.
We offer catering for small events, weddings, private dinner parties in guest homes with
bespoke menus to suit customer needs. Our aim is to be as environmentally friendly as
possible. We offer home deliveries.

What type of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing

General food preparation, basic cooking, washing up, general cleaning, taking orders,

stock rotation, portioning and labelling ready cooked foods ready for storing. Respond to

customer enquiries, take payments, answer phone calls, ensure display fridges and

freezers are full and tidy. Restock shelves taking in consideration stock rotation. Folding

napkins, setting up tables to standard - dinner, buffet etc. Appropriately storing all clean

table ware - crockery, cutlery, trays and equipment after each shift. Ensure high

standard of customer care is maintained.
