What is GoCompare looking for in an applicant?

Attitude and aptitude are more important than qualifications. The business is looking for applicants with a genuine passion for technology, a background in technology isn’t essential although some existing skills would be beneficial.

What type of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing?

Apprentices spend one day a week studying at Swansea University and the rest working at GoCompare. Apprentices are allocated a buddy who they shadow throughout their first year, learning to co-code from the second year onwards, gradually taking on more responsibility for their own coding.
