What type of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing

  • General office administrative duties
  • Data entry duties such as processing bank statements, chequeing accounts etc
  • Reconciliation of digital bookkeeping data with software (e.g. Quickbooks, Xero)
  • Providing support to customers with simple enquiries
  • Working with experienced senior accountants to support their duties and the wider practice

What do we look for in an applicant

  • We require strong I.T. skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Confidence with Mathematics at a fundamental level
  • Working together with other team members on complex queries or larger tasks is essential
  • A desire for progression and a long-term career in accountancy and finance

How much are apprentices paid

  • Positions start at National Apprenticeship wage
  • Pay will increase in accordance with experience and performance
