Mad Dog Brewing Co is looking for apprentices with a passion for beer and brewing. Apprentices will study microbiology as part of their training, so an aptitude for science and some previous biology qualifications would be beneficial but are non-essential.  Mad Dog Brewing Co is ideally looking for applicants over the age of 18 with a clean UK driving licence.

What type of jobs can apprentices expect to be doing?

Brewery assistants assist with all aspects of the brewing from fermentation to packaging. Day-to-day, apprentices could be mashing beer, checking stock levels, packing kegs and bottles and as well as meeting stockists at local bars and pubs.

What are the benefits of being an apprentice at Mad Dog Brewing Co?

The brewery runs an academy in partnership with Cardiff University, which is attended by industry professionals from across the UK and includes classes in microbiology, malting and water analysis. There may be opportunities for apprentices to stay on with the company after their apprenticeship.
