About the apprenticeship

Duties

• Cabin Crew on the Royal Air Force ‘Voyager’ Aircraft
• Greeting passengers as they board and exit the plane, providing special attention to passengers as required.
• Serving meals and refreshments
• Checking the condition and provision of on-board emergency equipment and information for passengers
• Demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures as well as administering first aid and dealing with passenger or crew emergencies.

Additional information

As an apprentice in the RAF you will be trained to play a role in the RAF’s mission to defending the skies of the UK and projecting the UK’s power and influence around the world. You will also be involved with assisting to deliver humanitarian aid around the world as directed by the UK Government. You could work at multiple locations in the UK.
