About the apprenticeship
Duties
As an Apprentice Building Services Technician/Handyman, you will support our experienced maintenance team with a variety of day to day tasks, including:
• Basic repairs and general maintenance
• Painting, decorating and minor carpentry
• Assisting with plumbing and electrical tasks (under supervision)
• Routine inspections across our buildings
• Supporting with setting up equipment, furniture moves and general upkeep
• Ensuring safe working practices at all times
You’ll gain hands on experience while working toward a recognised qualification, receiving guidance from skilled colleagues who will help you develop confidence and competence.

No previous experience is required - just enthusiasm and a commitment to learning.
Qualifications
A commitment to work towards a Craft/Trade/skill-based qualification.
To have undertaken or be committed to undertake training in Lifting and Handling, Fire Wardens Duties, First Aider at Work and dealing with difficult customers.
