About the apprenticeship
Duties
• You will receive training to fit and install mechanical and hydraulic components to heavy vehicles.
• To commit to punctual attendance for day-to-day work and day release training at college

Hours of Work
Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 16:15 or 07:00 – 17:15 (1/2 hr lunch unpaid).
Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.
Overtime
Time & half for hours worked Monday – Saturday.
Double time for hours worked Sunday.
Requirements
Skills
• IT literate
• Have a keen interest in a career in mechanical and electrical engineering
• Have a professional and courteous manner at all times
• Good communication skills
• Able to continue to learn and take on new tasks as and when presented
• Able to work as part of a team
Qualifications
• 4 GCSEs A-C grade would be desirable
