About the apprenticeship

Duties

Reporting to the Section Leader, the Production Operator’s duties include the carrying out any job in the
factory for which you have been trained, or are competent to perform, relating to the production of
IrvinGQ products. You will also be supported with your development by one of the business Operations
Managers.
Whilst training will be given in all areas of the textile manufacturing site, the overall goal of this
apprentice placement is to train and develop candidates, to be able to operate all sewing machines and
support the delivery of our full product range.

 To undertake manufacturing tasks assigned by the Section Leader or Operations Manager
 Support manufacturing dept in achieving efficiency targets
 To record relevant information to ensure lot traceability
 Correct booking of daily timesheets.
 Keep all working areas clean/tidy and organised
 Ensure minimum downtime is achieved on all jobs
 To adhere to set quality standards
 To adhere to health and safety guidelines
