Requirements
Skills
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who has a genuine interest in food and hospitality. The ideal apprentice will be committed to developing their culinary skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
They should demonstrate a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and good timekeeping. Being a team player is essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety. A natural curiosity about ingredients, presentation, and seasonal cooking is a bonus.
Qualifications
GCSEs in Maths and English/or Welsh (Grade 3/D or above) is preferred. However, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are more important than formal qualifications. If you do not already have Maths and English/or Welsh at the required level, we’ll help you work towards these as part of the apprenticeship programme. Any previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment—whether through school, part-time work, or personal interest—would be beneficial but is not essential.
