About the apprenticeship
Duties
Managing social media pages by posting updates & responding to comments & messages
Supporting online & live events through promotions & the running of the actual event
Developing the company's online presence including the website through content & search engine optimisation (SEO) practices
Engaging with partners to promote the business such as distributing posters in locality
Networking both in person & online to expand the reach of the business
Communicating with clients, customers & external agencies
Creating & delivering presentations
Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns & understand the way users interact with the site
Submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance & grow the company's brand
Writing & editing press releases, engaging with media contacts identified to share those releases
Attending industry events, conferences & trade shows
Serving customers & dealing with enquiries
Processing cash, card & online payments
Updating customer records in the company's database as required
Handling product returns & payment refund requests
Promoting products based on the company's directives
