About the apprenticeship
Duties
1. Engage with Customers and Prospects: Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and social media, ensuring a friendly and professional service experience.
2. Provide Information and Support: Assist customers with comprehensive details about services and products, guiding them through the sales process to completion.
3. Handle Customer Communications: Manage incoming calls and make outbound calls to follow up on leads, address queries, and confirm customer satisfaction.
4. Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with customers by addressing their needs effectively, resolving issues promptly, and fostering trust.
5. Collaborate with the Team: Work alongside colleagues and supervisors to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and meet team targets.
6. Update and Process Customer Data: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales processes, ensuring compliance with data protection policies.

Qualifications
1.GCSEs (or equivalent):
English and Mathematics at grades A*-D (or 9-3).
2.Basic IT Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to learn and adapt to customer relationship management (CRM) systems and digital communication tools.
3.Strong Communication Skills:
Confidence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
4. Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to assess customer needs and offer practical solutions efficiently.
5. Customer Service Enthusiasm:
A genuine interest in delivering exceptional customer service, demonstrated through work experience, volunteering, or personal projects.
6. Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills:
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
Relevant Additional Qualifications or Experience (Not Essential but Advantageous):
• Customer Service Certifications: City & Guilds Level 1 or 2 Award in Customer Service.
• NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service.
• Sales or Communication Training: Evidence of participation in workshops or online courses focusing on sales, negotiation, or communication.
• Digital Literacy: Familiarity with basic social media platforms or customer service tools like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or HubSpot.
• Language Skills: Knowledge of additional languages is an asset for engaging diverse clients.
