About the apprenticeship
Duties
As a Deli Clerk, you’ll be the face of Flynn’s, providing excellent service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the deli counter. From recommending the perfect cheese pairing to preparing fresh sandwiches, your day will be varied and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve and advise customers on our range of high-quality meats, cheeses, and deli products.
• Prepare fresh deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie boards.
• Operate slicing machines and other deli equipment (full training provided).
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist with stocking shelves, inventory management, and product displays.
• Support the team with general tasks—because at Flynn’s, we all pitch in to get the job done.
