About the apprenticeship
Duties
Key Responsibilities – Deli Clerk:
• Serve and advise customers on our range of high-quality meats, cheeses, and deli products.
• Prepare fresh deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie boards.
• Operate slicing machines and other deli equipment (full training provided).
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
•Assist with stocking shelves, inventory management, and product displays.
Key Responsibilities – Digital Marketing Assistant:
• Help manage Flynn’s social media accounts, creating posts, stories, and engaging with followers.
• Photograph and write about new products, specials, and behind-the-scenes moments to share online.
• Contribute to the newsletter, writing engaging content about upcoming events, promotions, and seasonal recipes.
• Update the website with daily specials and product descriptions.
• Support marketing campaigns for in-store events, workshops, and promotions.
• Monitor customer feedback on social media and review platforms, passing insights to the management team.

Qualifications
No entry requirements. GCSEs in ICT and English is desirable.
