About the apprenticeship

Duties

You will work principally in our manufacturing and repair centre carrying out repairs to our own and customers inflatable equipment. This may also involve travelling to customers premises to carry out repairs there.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy and sewing machines and other equipment oiled and ready for work.
Completing work record sheets to ensure customers are billed correctly. Entering data into computer systems.
Marking out and cutting pvc material ready for sewing.
Assisting with PAT testing.
Working outside of the testing and repair centre within the wider company assisting with preparation for events and working on events if required.

Additional information

There is excellent progression post apprenticeship with the opportunity to become a PIPA registered play inspector.
Within the wider company structure there are lots of opportunities to gain experience in event management, driver training, welding and fabrication and other food related experience in our sister company AJ Event Catering Ltd.

Skills

Our apprentice would be committed, a good timekeeper, interested in learning new skills, have good attention to detail, the ability to learn from their mistakes. This is a physically demanding job working with large inflatable equipment.
