About the apprenticeship

Duties

Job Description - In this role you will be supporting the day to day running of the IT Infrastructure, taking calls from staff and customers, setting up laptops, PC’s, Mobile Phones & other devices on our network.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Resolve one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via phone, TeamViewer, e-mail and in person
• User accounts administration for both Microsoft Windows and inhouse systems
• Support virtual hosted environments
• Participate in migrations, additions, or changes to network and systems access
• Diagnose and resolve network issues, cabling, switches, and patch panels
• Basic Mitel phone system administration & maintenance
• Deploy and maintain Android system devices
• Assists with new IT project rollouts
• Provide 1st level Help Desk support
• Manage the IT Asset register
• Participate in a 24/7 support rotation which performs night and weekend on-call support
• Ensure compliance to all Company policies

The job will also include all other reasonable related and administrative duties / tasks as may be required from time to time.

Required skills/experience:

• A genuine interest in IT systems and technology.
• Full driving licence

Desirable Personal Qualities of apprentice
Skills and/or personal qualities required

• Polite, reliable, and hardworking.
• Flexible and willing to work weekends when required.

Qualifications

Eg GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade A*-C / Level 2 preferred
