About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Support the planning and delivery of internal and external communications campaigns.
• Draft engaging content for a range of channels, including intranet articles, newsletters, social media posts and website updates.
• Support the planning, creation and scheduling of content across social media platforms and monitor engagement.
• Help manage and update website content.
• Assist with the creation of digital content, including graphics, videos and photography, using design tools and templates.
• Ensure communications materials are accurate and accessible, in line with brand guidelines.
• Conduct research to support campaigns, projects and communication strategies.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on communications performance using analytics and insights.
Additional information
• An interest working in digital communications and social media, with any related experience (e.g. through education, part-time work, volunteering, or personal projects).
• Welsh language skills, or a willingness to develop your Welsh language skills is desirable.
• This role involves travel across Hafod’s sites and services. While a driving licence is not essential, some locations may be difficult to access by public transport.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills, including regular use of email, Microsoft Office (e.g. Word and Excel), and other digital tools, or the ability to quickly build confidence in these areas.
