About the apprenticeship
Duties
• To assist in the day-to-day operational maintenance of all Town
• Council owned/managed green spaces, floral displays, and edibles
e.g. watering, weeding, ground preparation.
To assist in all aspects of planting, seed germination, growing on, monitoring and management of plant health.
• To interact with and assist community growing groups.
• To attend college and other courses as required to fulfil the
apprenticeship and employer’s needs.
Additional information
The ability to drive is preferred but not
essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is preferred
but not essential.
The ability to travel to college and the
place of employment without employer
assistance is essential e.g. car/public
transport.

GCSE requirement for level 2 is G Grade and
