About the apprenticeship
Duties
• Support the IT Department with ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required
• Act as a point of contact in answering the phone and self-service enquiries that come through to the Service Desk
• Assist with updating and maintaining the team documentation
• Assist with resolving technical hardware and software issues
• Assist the Service Delivery Manager in producing statistics for monthly team meetings
• Support the IT department in the roll out of projects and support project queries.
Requirements
Skills
• Technical knowledge of IT systems
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and internet to an intermediate level
• Good prioritising, time management and planning skills
• Proactive in resolving issues and efficient at solving problems
• Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent customer experience
Qualifications
• Minimum of five GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above including ICT, English and Maths.
