About the apprenticeship
Duties
1. Repair, maintain, install and replace computer hardware/software identified by the company, clients and partners, ensuring that it is installed to maximum satisfaction of the client/customer.
2. Develop understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Azure and Office 365 systems. Deploy and manage these systems where appropriate.
3. Support end users to resolve technical faults, taking responsibility for correct follow-up and rectification using remote access tools.
4. Help maintain accurate ticketing systems that enable clients to raise support requests. Record and maintain accurate records whilst ensuring appropriate follow-up action is implemented.
5. Develop an understanding of routing and IP networks. Configure and program these networks as required
6. Undertake monitoring activities to ensure IT systems meet the required performance and mitigation factors function correctly, e.g. firewalls, backup, etc.
