Children’s Day Nursery. We are proud winners of the Swansea City Council Early years and Play awards for Enabling Environments (2023) and Welsh Language and Culture (2024). We achieved our Hygge in the Early Years Accreditation in 2023 and continue to work towards various modules to keep our knowledge up to date and to provide the best opportunities for the children in our care. As Day Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring that all children receive the best possible care and learning opportunities. You will be leading a team of childcare professionals, supporting their development and ensuring compliance with all regulations and safeguarding requirements. You will work closely with parents, staff and external agencies to create a nurturing and safe environment where every child can thrive.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
• Lead, support and motivate a team of childcare practitioners.
• Ensure a high standard of care and education is provided to all children.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and learning plans.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and families.
• Monitor and support staff performance, including training and development.
• Manage budgets, resources and staffing requirements.
• Ensure the nursery provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children.
Qualifications
Must hold a Level 4 childcare qualification or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it.
