About the apprenticeship

Duties

• Provide forward air control and ground combat support in deployed operations.

• Train other RAF personnel in defensive military skills.

• Support various Special Forces units.

• Become a specialist in dismounted close combat tactics.

• Operate a wide variety of weapon systems as well as state-of-the-art surveillance systems.

• Be involved in State Ceremonies.

• An opportunity to undertake in state ceremonial taskings though the King’s Colour Squadron

Additional information

As an apprentice in the RAF you will be trained to play a role in the RAF’s mission to defending the skies of the UK and projecting the UK’s power and influence around the world. You will also be involved with assisting to deliver humanitarian aid around the world as directed by the UK Government. You could work at multiple locations in the UK.
