About the apprenticeship
Duties
1.Support the Recruitment Process
Assist with drafting and posting job advertisements, screening - CVs, and scheduling interviews to ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both candidates and employers.
2.Candidate Sourcing
Search for suitable candidates through job boards, social media platforms, community events, and referrals.
Engage with potential candidates to discuss opportunities and assess their suitability.
3.Engage with Candidates
Communicate professionally with candidates via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to understand their skills, experience, and career aspirations.
4.Database Management
Maintain and update accurate records of candidate information, job vacancies, and client requirements using recruitment software and tools.
5.Build Client Relationships
Work closely with management to understand recruitment needs, gather detailed job specifications, and provide regular updates on the progress of candidate searches.
6.Administrative Support
Produce professional business documents, manage email correspondence, and contribute to team meetings by preparing agendas and taking minutes.
7.Learn and Apply New Skills
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and project-based learning activities to enhance skills in business administration, communication, and recruitment strategies.

Qualifications
1. GCSEs (or equivalent):
English and Mathematics at grades A*-C (or 9-4) preferred, though grades A*-D (or 9-3) will be considered for exceptional candidates.
2. IT Proficiency
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Willingness to learn and use recruitment software and CRM tools effectively.
3. Strong Communication Skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
4. Organisation and Time Management Skills
Evidence of the ability to prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5.Teamwork and Collaboration
Experience or evidence of working effectively as part of a team, whether in education, work, or extracurricular activities.
6.Interest in Recruitment and People Management
A genuine interest in connecting individuals with career opportunities, evidenced by coursework, personal projects, or prior work experience.
Desirable but Not Essential:
• Additional Certifications: Basic qualifications in business administration, customer service, or similar fields.
• Experience in a Customer-Facing Role: Work or volunteering experience in sales, customer service, or administration is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Social Media Platforms: Knowledge of using social media for professional or networking purposes is a plus.
