About the apprenticeship
Duties
Deliver a wide range of professional nail treatments, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish, acrylics and nail enhancements.
Perform beauty treatments such as waxing, tinting, lash and brow treatments and other salon services as qualified.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Conduct client consultations and recommend suitable treatments and aftercare products.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety and infection control.
Manage appointment schedules and support the smooth day-to-day running of the salon.
Assist with stock control and ordering salon supplies.
Support, mentor and train junior team members and Apprentices.
Promote salon services and retail products to maximise client satisfaction and business growth.
Open and close the salon when required and undertake additional supervisory or management responsibilities.
Requirements
Skills
Patience, creativity and a strong hand eye co-ordination, willing to take on salon responsibilities at senior or management level.
