About the apprenticeship
Duties
Support the day-to-day functions of the Strategic Leadership Support Team and the Chief Executive Office.
Support the organisation of meetings including diary planning, booking rooms, arranging attendance, circulating paperwork and capturing minutes and actions, to ensure timely responses.
Support the preparation of reports, presentations and monitoring of data, collating information to provide regular updates on performance.
Support the central coordination of MP/AM enquiries to ensure accurate and timely responses are provided to political enquiries.
Undertake photocopying, opening and distributing incoming mail as needed.
Set a good example by communicating clearly and politely with colleagues, Council Members and residents.
Be prepared to try new ways of working including using new technologies, such as Co Pilot to improve your efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with one off events, interview days, change programme activities and corporate events as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to team working by being flexible in your approach, delivery and working hours.
Take responsibility for your personal development and ensure you reach the milestones and deadlines as agreed with your training provider.
Support the team by providing cover and support during emergency response situations or during times of absence.
Undertake any other duty as may be required by your manager, that is compatible with the level and remit of this post.

A High level of organisational skills, self disciplined with the ability to self manage
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks with experience of completing tasks within deadlines
An interest in engaging with others to develop working relationships to assist with obtaining information
Qualifications
4 GCSE's A-C Equivalent. Including English Language and Mathematics or relevant work experience which would demonstrate suitable knowledge to understand this role.
