About the apprenticeship
Duties
Assisting in the installation of streetlight fixtures
● Troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
● Collaborating with experienced electricians to troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in street
lighting infrastructure
● Learning and applying knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations relevant to street
lighting installations and highways working
● Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning of
street lighting equipment
● Working closely with the team to execute scheduled maintenance and address emergency
repairs promptly

Skills
A Basic understanding of electrical theory
● Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures

Preferably GCSEs A-C or numbered equivalent (9-4) in both English and Maths
