About the apprenticeship
Duties
Principal Accountabilities
The Apprenticeship will take 3-4 years depending on the successful completion of the relevant National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) relating to the following activities-
• Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical skills.
• A range of vehicle maintenance from small vans to large goods vehicles including plant maintenance small road breakers and large tractors.
• The Apprentice will be monitored throughout the Apprenticeship and will be expected to show a high degree of commitment and motivation in work and studies, with regards to all aspects of health and safety.
• The ability to remain calm in volatile situations and deal sympathetically and diplomatically with members of the public.
• To undertake any other duties required by time to time, by Management.
Entry requirements
• 3 GCSE’s in English, Mathematics and Science (or equivalent) to grade C or above.
• Driving licence is an essential requirement for the role.
