About the apprenticeship
Duties
To provide the employee with on the job training and experience as part of the Apprenticeship framework (including the achievement of Level 3 ICT Professional qualification) and to support the provision of an efficient and effective HR/Payroll system to the HR Service Centre Team.

Bridgend County Borough Council is seeking to appoint an HR Systems Apprentice to work within its Human Resources and Organisational Development service to undertake Professional Competence for ICT Professional Level 3 qualification. This Apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. You will receive structured on-the-job training and ongoing support throughout your Apprenticeship journey.
As a member of our HR Systems team, you will provide advice to users on system issues (MHR iTrent HR and Payroll System) and assist in data reporting to support the wider HR&OD team. We are looking for a motivated, well-organised and committed individual who has good communication skills, excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
